"The imagination and thought behind Emily’s ideas, in addition [to] utilising art, listening to conversations to enhance genuine dialogue, listening to music and so on, made learning different to what I have experienced previously in the education system and it gave me space to engage imaginatively with different styles of learning.


Emily often remembered discussions and the finer details shared by the class and she introduced them again into her future classes. When Emily remembered information I shared, I felt listened to and understood and it demonstrated the empathy and respect Emily had for my view to introduce it again when it linked to a different or separate discussion. I found Emily to be an incredibly diligent, respectful and gifted person who appreciated each person in the class for who he or she is and this attitude towards others is something I revere."
