Following its shortlisting for the Discoveries Prize, Emily's novel-in-progress, THE NIGHT ROOM, was awarded time-to-write funding from Creative Scotland.

The fund will allow Emily to focus on completing and revising the novel over a period of 12 months from October 2023 to the end of September 2024.
